The Labour Party has decried the worsening security situation in the country while speaking at a briefing in Abuja.
The national chairman of the party Barrister Julius abure said It’s governorship candidate in the just concluded anambra governorship election OBIORA AGBASIMELO is still with his abductors 62 days after he pleaded to his abductors to release him unhurt !
Barrister Julius Abure used the opportunity to appeal to his abductors again to release him because of the devastation it has caused his wife, kids, entire family members and the party.
Barrister Julius Abure said, that is why it has become even more incumbent on him to appeal again and again to his abductors and the security agencies to intensify efforts for the release of their candidate, Obiora AGBASIMELO
He noted that in spite of the fact that by the reason of this very kidnap of our candidate, our campaigns were aborted.
We did not campaign the way we ought to campaign in the election as all our activities were put on halt.
Barrister Julius Abure said though, that is bygone now, we are appealing as life is more important, which is why this appeal has become unavoidably necessary.
