OFFICE OF THE NATIONAL YOUTH LEADER, LABOUR PARTY

4th August, 2023.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

DISCLAIMER NOTICE

Our attention has been drawn to a letter flying around on the social media space where one profane entity named Eragbe Anslem purportedly wrote the presidency and some federal government agencies in Nigeria.

Ordinarily, we do not have issue with such disjointed letter, neither are we interested in the numerous letters being written by such dissident but for the misleading usage of the office of the National Youth Leader of the Labour Party to deceive the receivers of the letter and general public points to the need for this disclaimer.

Recall that Eragbe Anslem was suspended from the Labour Party on the 18th of October, 2022 due to official misconduct and anti-party activities. The suspension was further confirmed and was made permanent by the National Executive Council of Labour Party on the 18th of April, 2023 (see attached INEC CTC of the NEC meeting).

Hence, its important to inform all government, public and private agencies as well as corporate individuals that;
1. Eragbe Anslem is no longer the National Youth Leader of the Labour Party.
2. Anyone dealing with the person of Eragbe Anslem does so at his or her own risk.
3. Every opinion expressed by such dissident does not and will not represent the Labour Party position on National Policy.
4. Eragbe Anslem remains suspended indefinitely according to NEC decision.

In conclusion, we hereby use this medium to ask the relevant security agencies to hasten investigation on the identity of Eragbe Anslem and caution him to desist forthwith from muddling the image of our great party.

Prince Kennedy Ahanotu
