A front-line member of the OBIDIENTS GROUP and Civil Society expert, Hon. lucky Ehis Obiyan is ready to hold a declaration ceremony in Abuja ahead of the 2024 governorship elections in Edo state.
Hon. Lucky Obiyan who leads a protest group along side, Dr Barry Avotu Johnson of the VMCII and Comrade Ayo Ogedengbe of the Global Center for Leadership and Good Governance has promised to dispense good governance, quality leadership and the respect for the rule of law if voted as the governor of Edo state under the platform of the labour party.
Hon. Obiyan stormed the labour party national secretariat in Abuja to meet with the national chairman Dr Julius Abure and some members of the national executive council committee (NWC).
Obiyan will hold his official declaration to run for the seat of governor of Edo state 15th August in Abuja and after then hold the final ceremony in Benin city the Edo state capital where he will be visiting the Edo state LP chairman, state excos, the Oba of Benin and other notable political big wings across the state to continue his consultation.
He also met with the Edo estate party chairman who was also ready to move the party in Edo forward as preparations are on top gear to making sure that labour party wins the forthcoming elections.
