Gentlemen of the press,
As we inch towards inauguration of the National Assembly, and vigorously pursuing our case at the Presidential Petition Tribunal our party, the Labour Party ( Diaspora ). has put together an impactful leadership and good governance summit to give our elected candidates a sense of direction.
To this end, a summit designed to inform and educate our trustworthy flag bearers in this dispensation will hold on May 25th, 2023.
The theme of the summit is : ‘The Nigerian People First….It Is Possible’.
The following topics will be adequately discussed:
1. Impactful leadership and good governance .
2. Building Synergies For The New Nigeria Of Our Dream.
3. People Oriented Programs in a Parliamentary Representation.
4. Law Making, Constitution and Democracy.
All geared towards the chapter 2 of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 as amended,
and contained in the 72 paged manifesto document of Peter Obi and Datti Baba Ahmed , tagged it is POssible.
Our legislators and Governor are expected to be well briefed on the brand of politics that is people’s oriented.
The program is scheduled as follows:
Date : 25th of May 2023.
Venue : D Franklin Event Center, FCT Abuja. Time : 8am Prompt.
Expected as guests and keynote speakers at the summit are the presidential candidate of LP, Peter Obi, Vice presidential candidate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, National Chairman of our great party, Julius Abure, Former SGF and Ex-President of the Senate Pius Ayim Pius, Santiago Stocker country director IRI , and Com Sen Shehu Sani as the chairman of the occasion .
This is a new dawn in Nigeria
