THIS INTERVENTION IS STRICTLY FOR INNOCENT NIGERIAN STUDENTS WHO HAVE BEEN DELIBERATELY MADE VICTIMS OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE ASUU-FGN TRADE DISPUTE AKA ASUU STRIKE (forced to register for PVC at home during ASUU strike, made unable to collect PVC due to ongoing academic sessions and deliberately abandoned by INEC who seem to be unleashing institutional political terrorism on innocent Nigerian students) LEADING TO THE DENIAL OF THEIR FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN AND ELECTORAL RIGHTS.
Dear Nigerian Students, Every election the world over is mainly about deciding the future of the country -that future ably represented by the young people, especially the students.
According to INEC Data, students make up the largest category at 26,027,481 or 27.8 per cent of all registered voters, in terms of occupational distribution. This is almost almost 1/3 of the total PVC registrations!! It is absurd that INEC has decided to proceed with this consequential 2023 general elections without considering the fate of students who are victims of the well known circumstances of the ASUU-FGN trade dispute.
INEC’s insistence on deliberately disenfranchising these innocent students would amount to an unprecedented act of institutional political terrorism. THIS CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO STAND!!!
If you are a Nigerian student who feels strongly about casting your very important vote during the 2023 elections but limited by being a victim of circumstance of the ASUU-FGN trade dispute that forced you to register for PVC at home while you are now in school during the PVC collection period and elections, please provide your information below for organizations that are irreversibly committed to the restoration of your human and electoral rights to take up the issue with the relevant authorities.
IF YOU ARE A POTENTIAL DISENFRANCHISED STUDENT AS EXPLAINED ABOVE, PLEASE FILL OUT THE GOOGLE FORM IN THE WEB LINK BELOW:
